Beautiful country, warm and open people that treat tourists like family. Las Terrazas was a huge highlights. I would have like to stay one night at their hotel. Amazing! Our Las Terraza guide, Annia, was one of my wonderful. Geldrys Vilches our full time guide was astonishing. She was so informed, flexible and a great translator. She is a huge asset to your company. Our driver, Fuben, was also quite good.

I loved learning about Cuban history, religions, interacting with the people, dancing to the music, eating the food, and landscape ad general energy of the island. Learning the history and interacting with Cubans through art and music was my favorite parts. I can not think of any improvements at the moment.

The Cuban people and culture was beautiful. So much history lives in Cuba I would love to go back to learn more! My guide Mandi was amazing! He was extremely thorough and so informative on all things Cuba. My group was awesome as well. This made the experience of visiting Cuba very memorable.

Cubans are a diverse group of individuals who ancestors are from all over the world. The culture also mimics that of its people. Diverse rich and beautiful. I loved how warm Cubans are toward visitors. I loved how visual artists and musicians are considered to be as worthy as doctors and appreciated every time we got to experience the arts. Las Terrazas was amazing. We all wished we could have stayed for one night there and explored the village further.

Cuba was interesting and different than expected. Our guide was amazing. She did a great job of explaining many different nuances of Havana and Cuba in general.

We loved Cuba and a great time. The people are kind, friendly and authentic. Our guide Yailem was outstanding. Yailem is the best tour guide I’ve ever had and we travel a significant amount.

Wonderful! The Cuban people are warm and welcoming. The days and nights were packed with things to do and sights to see. Ensure that folks bring maximum strength insect repellant for tours outside Havana.

I loved the tour. I only wish to had not been such a short visit. The people were like people anywhere simply trying to live their lives as best they can under the circumstances they have been given. Most everyone that I dealt with was cordial and helpful. I love seeing new places how the people go about their daily lives. Seeing Cuba after so many years of prohibition on travel was very special. I thoroughly enjoyed several long walks along the Malecón. The dinner at El Ajiaco was exceptional and I thought provided the best chance to interact with local people in an off-the-beaten path neighborhood.

Our trip to Cuba brought many surprises – most of them wonderful. The land, the people the beauty were extraordinary. The cultural experiences: Dr. Nunez’s presentation, the organic farm, the trip to the mountains, the artists, were all outstanding. Real people with real lives. This was an important part of our journey. The learning that we did was the best thing. Many ways to learn and each way was something I think was valuable. But then I’ve been an educator most of my life.

Culture is charming, people mostly cheerful and hospitable amidst great adversity. The tour had a good balance of education, entertainment, and rest time.

I had a fantastic eye opening experience in Cuba. The people, the food, the culture, everything, it was amazing and exceeded all of my expectations. I will definitely be back to Cuba in the future and I will now follow what is happening in Cuba more closely. I enjoyed our tour guide Ari and driver Bruno the most. They definitely made the trip more fun and were great at showing us the country. Their patience, kindness, and knowledge exceeded every tour similar to this that I’ve taken in the past.

We absolutely loved Cuba. We enjoyed meeting and getting to know the people and found them to be amazing. We are fascinated by the culture and history and hope to learn much more about both. It was all great! Probably our favorite tour was the visit to Hacienda Codina in the mountains and the walk through the woods with Andres. We loved Ari our guide, and Bruno our bus driver, and all of the people that joined us in the tour. No problems at all.

I was most interested by the stark difference in perception of the government by the Cuban people versus the Cuban community in the United States. I really enjoyed that there was live music in so many places. The trip made me appreciate that the US embargo has significantly slowed progress in Cuba. I appreciated how small the group was, it gave us a lot of flexibility. I also appreciated that we never started activities before 9am. The day in Cojímar was a highlight; I loved the garden and the cooking class. Great choice of paladares throughout the trip (and thanks for always checking the women’s bathrooms).
Staying at the Hotel Nacional was also very memorable. Lastly, the tour of Hemingway’s house was great! I watched the movie Papa [Hemingway] on the plane flight home (it was a movie choice on my Delta flight), and it was really cool to see the Hemingway house. I’d suggest to recommend this movie in one of your pre-Cuba emails so people have the opportunity to learn a bit and see Cojímar and the Hemingway house before visiting.
