Fantastic opportunity to personally meet the Cubans on a 1:1 basis and come in contact with people and organizations that I would not normally think of meeting. Our activities were not rushed and very flexible at the same time. Dan, Josh, and Sandor were outstanding in giving our tour a VERY personable experience. Our guide Sandor was VERY informative and Authentic and passionate about his country and his people! I am already saving and planning another tour in 2018!
EVERYTHING! Our tour leaders were fun and passionate about making our trip a memorable experience. The restaurants were superb! The people we met were interesting and varied and REAL Cuban people! Sandor our tour leader is an expert in knowledge about his country, it’s history and culture. Hotels were more than adequate. Our last hotel, The Hotel Nacional de Cuba was the perfect compliment to the end of our tour experience! The hotel was amazing, the grounds beautiful and the history amazing! I can’t imagine going on any other Cuban tour other that this memorable experiences provided by Dan and Josh!

We loved Cuba the people and the culture. We learned so much from our tour. We had a wonderful time. The Havana history and the people and our tour guide and driver were absolutely wonderful.

I was very impressed by how friendly and welcoming the people of Cuba are. They shared their feelings, family histories, and aspirations. It was a pleasure to meet so many people that truly loved their country and wanted the best for visitors. I liked the combination of history and contemporary activities. While we seem overwhelmed by the Revolution, I must confess I had no idea of Cuban history from 1900 to 1962. The things I learned were a revelation.
I wish we had more time at the beach. It was a sunny afternoon but already late in the day when we arrived at the seaside resort. The next day there was rain and we left on the third day, so our only chance to play on the beach was barely a late afternoon.

I enjoyed my visit to Cuba and want to go again. The people were very friendly and I was surprised that the locals knew a little English – better English than my Spanish. I just enjoyed whole tour, especially our guide Jesús. He was wonderful and had so much information to share with us. I knew that there would be poverty but i just did not realize the extent. We did not have any problems during our stay in Cuba.

Because of our driver and guide, Jesús, out trip to learn about the people and culture was very successful. It was important to me to be around the people of Cuba. Everything thing that was planned for the trip was exciting: food, food, food any samples of their food. The visit to the model organic farm was at the top of my list. The owner was very engaging. Jesús translating, made the experience very personal. Again, the owner was so warm and patient on all of our questions and very inviting to her farm. Food lunch, was wonderful. No problem with this trip.
Jesús allowed us to interact with everyone, he was by our side, as we always felt safe, but the Cuban people were very friendly. We are recommending to everyone we know to take this tour and have our driver (he was great) always had the bus ready for us to board. Jesús – he is your golden ticket. He was the best at everything. I believe he was the reason for a wonderful trip. He was very professional and still became a “working” and trusted friend.

I enjoyed very much the people and the culture. I felt it a rich experience. It was like peeling back an onion with so many things to learn especially the history. The last night at the fabulous restaurant was great! Loved the classy aspects of that, the music offered. I very much appreciated the 1 1/2 hour with Dr. Marta Núñez. It was very helpful to discuss where our two countries are in terms of their relationships. The walking tour of Old Havana was wonderful, so fun to explore and see the old architecture inclusive of cobble stone streets. I enjoyed the Mojitos at practically every lunch and dinner. Riding in the old cars was a must.

A WONDERFUL culture and people. Very vibrant and pleasant! And the weather was perfect and hot! We completely enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL beach at Varadero near Paradise Resort. The tours of Havana were informative and fun. We had a wonderful visit and were very impressed with the entire trip.

The people of Cuba are very warm and inviting. The culture makes you want to join in. I liked the visit to the youth center the best. Interacting with the young adults was eye opening and rewarding. Communities thrive when adults value the young and the old! There were no problems with the tour!

Sandor was a great guide and gave us interesting facts and insights into the island and the people. He seemed genuine and like he enjoyed working with our group. I learned a lot about Cuba. The tour ran very smoothly. Arriving before 2pm and departing after 2pm made sense for tour but was difficult to find flights. I stayed an extra night in Miami in order to get a connecting flight back home the next day.

I loved how warm Cubans are toward visitors. I loved how visual artists and musicians are considered to be as worthy as doctors and appreciated every time we got to experience the arts. Las Terrazas was amazing. We all wished we could have stayed for one night there and explored the village further.

Cuba was interesting and different than expected. Our guide was amazing. She did a great job of explaining many different nuances of Havana and Cuba in general.
